373 gears?

anyone put 373 gears in their SC? how did it work out? i know there is a formula you can use to find out how fast you will be going at some RPM with different gears. anyone know what it is? thanks
 
Mine are on order & should arrive today or tomorrow. I expect to have them in within the next few days. I'm figuring I'll pull 2300 or so RPM @ 70 MPH.
 
A couple of things-
373's are WAY too short for a 5 spd car--- my 355's are so short that 1st gear is only a blur. i have to use 2nd to start or ill just spin and hit the rev limiter. good luck.

and second, my rpms at 65 are about 2500, so w/ 373's expect to be a little higher. check here for all the gear info. http://tccoa.com/articles/gears/gears.html
 
I have 3.27's in my 5-speed and love em. Great passing power in 5th on the highway, and lots of pull around town. I am glad I didn't put in 3.55's like I almost did.
