Yeah, these are for 4R70W's only. I'd get ahold of FSR or Inland Empire if you are looking for a nice driveshaft for your AOD.

AOD, T5, and M5R2 all share the same 28 spline yoke. Easy swap to the new driveshaft. C/L Yoke to C/L yoke.

89-95 3.8L M5R2 53.80" driveshaft (M5R2 overall length 35")
89-93 3.8L AOD 57.80" driveshaft (AOD overall length 31")
94-97 4.6L 4R70W 58.20" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")
93-98 Mark VIII 4R70W 58.20" driveshaft (4R70W overall length 32")

Okay, cool. That is good info. These come with yokes and u-joints, so I guess I should rephrase that to 4R70W will be the only direct bolt in. Thanks!

And how are these driveshafts going to fit any Year SC????
The AOD driveshaft comes close at 57.80" but the 58.20" length could cause it to bottom against the tailhousing? It is the wrong length. The AOD still uses a different yoke.
I just don't want to see people purchasing the wrong part.

They should fit any '94-'95 SC with the 4R70W tranny.

The driveshaft of 58.20" is too long. I had a Mark VIII driveshaft in a 95 SC and it busted the trans tailshaft. Not enough yoke clearance. Yes the drive shaft will fit but the clearance is wrong. You risk damaging the tailshaft is my point. I was unable to get the C/L to C/L measurement for the MMX driveshaft. Maybe someone here can verify the MMX length who already has one.

I just corrected the broken link I posted above regarding reasonably priced aluminum driveshafts which should take care of anyone who cannot use the MMX shaft Thomas is working on.

I know a few people have purchased them, cant point anyone specific out though. If it means anything, I intend to get one in a few months when I order a new transmission for my 93.
