Won't Start

Also, listen closely when you turn the ignition to the "on" posistion. Don't try to start it, just listen. Have your ride control in auto. If you don't hear any noise from the trunk area, it is probably your fuel pump. Mine is on its last leg in my '89. The other morning, nothing. It would just crank. Listened closer and no fuel pump. Came home that afternoon and it started no problem.

Upshift arrow stays on when cranking, then it's your crank sensor.

Fuel pump is definately running. Shift light comes on when I turn the key on but goes out when I crank the engine. I pressure washed the engine a week ago, could I have gotten the spark control module on top of the engine or the coil wet and shorted out? But we've driven it twice after pressure wash and it was fine but the third time is when it quit.
