Put on the BHJ this weekend. Changed the timing chain while I was at it. Got it back together and it runs really choppy and won't hold an idle.
I know I didn't turn the crank relative to the cam while the chain was out and verified the gear marks when I put in the new one. I did pull the cam position sensor but followed the install procedure when I put it back. Pulled the connector and it runs the same.
Does the computer need time to re-learn how to idle? Is there something I'm missing? How important is the crank sensor gap? I eyeballed it. I did have the IC and upper IC tube out. I used permatex gasket maker when I re-installed. Possibly a leak?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
