Today I decided to call my grandmother. I call her every few days just to check up and see how she's doing. Well, tomorrow is a Jewish holiday, ( I'm half Jew, don't hold it against me!), and we were discussing whether I should skip classes Monday and Tuesday and drive down to Jew it up with the family. To make a long story short, she didn't want my driving home in the P.O.S Honda. (For those at Waterford, you can understand.) Not to mention, the rice rocket is having rediator and tranny problems, which I refuse to fix. Another plus is that my 20th birthday is less than one month away. I mentioned to her that it would cost roughly $2,000 to have the car running perfectly. She indirectly offered me the money. :eek: Well, to wrap things up, I said that I really wanted to have the car running for a birthday gift, and that alone is gift enough. I'm kinda thinking that there will be a major contribution to the " Help Me Get My Wheels Back" fund.
