Pearlbird, Tbird88 and I know what it is...lol. For those that don't know I went to Beaumont on Sunday to take care of some personal business and decided it would be cool to hook up with the Beaumont Scer's. I do have to say, if you guys are rooling through Beaumont sometime, look these guys up. They are great.
My thanks go out to Tbird88 for fixing my shifter, the plate that holds it down decided to unbolt itself about halfway there. Anything past 4th grear I would have to literally find cause the shifter would totally come loose.
Also to Pearlbird, thanks for the help with the plugs. Now you know how to do it, at least the passenger side...lol. And Wynn you can e-mail me for the secrets...lol.
I was sorry to hear that Sonicman had to goto work, you missed some good fun, but I am posting pics for you.
I enjoyed lunch with you guys and would definately would love to do it again sometime.
Now to the good stuff....
Wynn was showing off his new project he threw together, when does he not have one...lol, he made a resonator. I have to say, it sounded bada$$, till he dropped the hammer on it. Would rattle and rasp big time. I'm sure he has plans to fix it on the next version. Sonicman and Pearlbird were just hanging out till I got there, which by the way I drove right past it..lol.
We went to Chedders for lunch, and back to Wynn's to do the plug change on my 35th. Got it done in about 1.5 hours. And my bucking under boost was fixed. Lesson learned maybe....MAKE SURE YOU FASTEN THE SPARK PLUG WIRE BACK UP AND DON'T LET IT DANGLE! Then Pearlbird and Wynn said we have time to get to the track in Evadale. Sounded like a plan.
Here are the pics....My best run was 15.5 sec with a reaction time of .84, only after I was told how you run on the track. Just cause it isn't green don't mean you can't go...lol.
