I went to the track on thursday and things are going from bad to worse. Remember when I told you guys that I ran a 14.0 flat? Well what I left out was my next two runs were 14.6's. I couldn't figure it out at the track so I loaded up and went home. I did a little tinkering with it and took it back on thursday and ran a 14.9 twice than a 15.0 then a 15.1. So this week I'm gonna pressure check the system and replace all the vacuum hoses. I'm pretty sure I've always had a leak somewhere in the system. I was only getting 8lbs of boost. I'm gonna do some much needed work on it. I should be ready to race by next thursday.

I bet you break that 14 mark when you get all those boost leaks taken care of. are you seriously considering that whipple charger cuz that would be bad ***

I'm gonna see how much it will cost and go from there. Right now I'm thinkin about a larger TB and MAF for my next mod.

I will have the car there in May. I'm puting it on a trailor and taking it to the in-laws house. the drive from Orlando to Leesburg won't be bad. Hopefully I can keep up with the rest of the gang. I only drive about 65 mph on the interstate.

I was wanting to change over to the 3:73 rear gear and was wondering first about what it would cost me and 2nd how big a pain it is to change out....That is if I can pry the wife out of it once her Seville is fixed

Changing them isn't to bad if you kinda know what you're doing. Time wise I would say 3 hours from start to finish. The cost will be about $270.00 which includes gears, gear oil, rear axle seals, shim kit, crush sleve, and posi juice. Unless you lookin for a headache take it to a mechanic. Or get lucky like me and do it twice b/c one of the rear axle seals started leaking 5 miles down the road  If you feel up to it and have any problems give me a call. (941) 423-4921 Jake

A friend of mine is selling a 3.73 Trak Lok IRS 8.8 Rear end, Steel. Drop him an email James Labella (Cheetah5 at bellsouth.net) if you're interested he may still have it.
He's mostly a tccoa guy and doesn't visit these boards. I think he still lives in coral springs.

John... You know James Labella? I'm buying some parts from him and was hoping he was honest guy. I'm always reluctant purchasing parts from someone that only has 1 post here on the boards.

Yea I know him. He doesn't like SCCoA so he is usualy only arround tccoa. Even when he had an SC. I've met him several times, he's helped me with work on my car as well. He's an honest guy. He is somewhat harsh, and sometimes rude, but you know how that goes. I don't think you'd need to be worried about buying from him.
