Anybody got a Harmonic Balancer install tool handy??

In “Dr. Fred’s instructions he talked about “Pulling the damper on with a long 14mm x 1 ½” bolt with a nut / flat washer compo on it.” Not sure who has done this or not, does Autozone rent damper tools? Keep us updated, I have to put mine on soon also.

That's what I was going to look around for this morning Flip, I got it on by hand right up to the keyway and aligned right on the money, now I just got to get it the rest of the way up there. Nothing seems to be easy anymore, the older I get the less patience I have, and it's getting worse!!

Hey RJ,
Yeah, AutoZone rents them out for a deposit. It looks sorta like what Flip quoted from Dr. Fred I wish I had the part # and the deposit cost of it handy.
Keep your cool RJ, you'll get there. I've noticed myself getting frusturated a ot lately too, small "easy" projects have been turning into big productions, maby it's the gravitational pull of the moon or something! :rolleyes:

Thanks Greg, I'll run by this autozone over here, I've rented some other stuff from them in the past... With my luck they won't have one!!
