That royally sucks Peter,
I saw the title and thought to myself "Hasin't this poor guy gone through enough already?!?" Looks like it's not too bad though but still is hard to see that happen to your baby. I wish I had some spare body panels laying around for ya, hopefully you can get her pieced back together relitively cheap and maby even use insurance money to upgrade to an aftermarket hood.
Fight that ticket in court man! it sucks that these car's ABS systems fail so much, but the judge doesn't need to know that! They should have mopped up that antifreeze after the pile-up before you.
Hope you can get everything straightend out.

on a good note i had the CEO and the VP of the company i work for today saying how much they liked what i was doing and that they are growing and that they plan on adding more people to the IT team in the future and i will then officially be the "director of IT" :D
as for the bird, not sure what to do yet, im guessin teh ins is gonna total it.... i may buy it back, and/or buy a 93 i know of in pa or new york with 65k miles on it, no rust, for $3300.
not sure yet. i guess i gotta go to some body shops tomorrow.

ok heres some bigger pics i took this morning showing all the damage, the passanger side door wont open, cause the fender is over it, and i didnt want ot force and it damage teh door any more than it is (scratched up a bit) the fender has a chunk bent/broken out of it and is bowed out... the hood well, uh its fuct, from what i can tell by that pic (i still cant get the hood open) there appears to be some damage to the metal piece that runs in front of the radiator, the headlight panal is definately damaged, and the corner light and headlight are shot obviously
im guessing AT LEAST $2000 damage, and probably will be totalled.

I think if you get the parts cheap go ahead and fix her yourself, I'm sure you can find the parts fairly cheap since most of the body pannels will interchange from non SC T-birds. But if you are looking for another SC I may have a lead on one that may be going up for sale, all I know right now about it is that it is black and very straight and has a fuel pump problem. A guy at my work has a neighbor that has had it sitting in his front yard for a few months and he says he will try and see if he wants to sell. If so I'll be glad to get the info for ya once he finds out if the guy is looking to sell.
I wish I had not tossed my old head lights or I'd send them to the Pdennis93 fund! I'm sure between the Florida gang we can get Peter the parts he needs!
Congrats on the job by the way, glad to see they are appreciating what you are doing for them and plan on expanding the IT department!

thanks for the help, i finally got the hood open today with some help from my friends, the damage under the hood is minimal, a few dents to the radiator support right around the intake, and the fender is whats bent, not the frame there..... so the only R&R may be the rad support, and then its just a bunch of replacing of parts (header panal, headlights, hood, right front quarter.....
im still thinking of just parting the car out and getting that other red 93 that is rust free, or maybe something else... idunno
ive already been offered $900 for the tranny alone.
Looks fixable to me also, it all depends on the adjuster has to say. They also can be swayed somewhat by what you what to do. If it’s paid for they will just send you a check and you can fix it and have it painted. Allot of times you can do this on the cheap, they will spec. out all new body parts, where you can get used. All depending if you want to keep this one. If they total it and you bought it back, I would part out. It will have a salvage title attached to it, if you think most SC’s don’t bring much value. Try and sell one with a Salvage title. I would think book value would be around 4k.
When mine was wrecked they estimated ( I pretty much told the adjuster that it wasn’t going to be totaled) the damage at 4k after a 1k deductible=3k, fixed it and had $50 remaining and I think it came out pretty good. Took it to a body shop to have the rear quarter done and painted. Man, I said many time I wished it would have been the front which is pretty much a bolt off and bolt on.
Just me 2 cents worth, good luck. :D
ps, I have a set of used lights and corners if you need them.

im undecided as to what i want to do with the car, i know i will not get the insurance money and fix it and leave it.....because of the rust underneath....so ive got a few options assuming they dont total it
1. get the insurance money, and then part out the car (i already have a buyer for the tranny @ $900 ifi decide to do this) and also might have a buyer for the engine, and then either buy another sc, or a trans am or whatever..burt i figure with the ins money and some key parts off the car id have $3k to have as a nice down payment
2. fix the car, and by this i mean FIX it.....send it up to SVT Tbird's shop in north carolina...fix the body damage, fix all the RUST...new paintjob, for around $3000 (also dont forget a rental car for 3-4 weeks to get this done @$300 a week, or buy a cheap pos, then resell it, or keep it as a daily driver)
3. drive it as as for a while while i look for something else (again SC, T/A or something ?)
decisions decisions
btw, according to edmunds.com the high retail value on my car is $3700, private party is $2300 and trade in is $1200
ill bet if the damage is $2k they will junk it.

If you part that out-I need a complete driver door-I don't need the interior panel.
