Crows foot. I used an 18" long, 1" diameter crow's foot and a 5 lb hammer.. took some good shots with the hammer to get it apart too. There is also a separator tool (supposedly) which pushes the stud out. That's what they show in the Haynes manual, but I don't know if the parts stores actually loan out that tool; ususlly something similar.
