Just wanted to fill those interested in on the track results.
Sat we had 5 SCs and 2 LXs show at the Juleburg Dragstrip for the opening day test & tune/ Jackpot race.
Had some fun. All but 1 SC ran ETs.
In the Jacpot race 3 birds had there way at the track in a field of 100 cars,(including 8 sec. altereds & a 7 sec.rail) with Edgar winning against me in my 79 El Camino by red light in the finals. Sam took 3rd place loosing to Edgar in the Semis.
Note: these times are 3500ft elevation. . My son Michael in my 94 SC went to the 3rd round before being eliminated.
Michele & Max & Cory & Gina Hawkins didn't run the race.
Max did find my cobra mounted Nitto 555Rs( the 92 Scs street tires) helpful in getting his SC to go from 16.2 to 15.5s

We had a great time.
Michele & I returned to the track for our regular race day on Sunday. I advanced the timing from 24* to 27* and she ended up running a best of 13.39 @ 99.98mph...the fastest ET ever at this elevation!....I know the car is capable of 12s now ...( maybe even at high elevation.) a bit more tuning and it should be running 13.2s.
I think we've just started to tap the power this thing can make and we don't even have a front mount IC (yet)
