...It seems that the guy has fallen off the face of the Earth in recent weeks.
I hope that everything is OK.
I was really hoping that Les would have some advice as to how to change out my strut rod bushings, as I think he's gone through that on his XR7.
Best regards,
Sean

I spoke to Les very briefly 2 weeks ago. He seems busy with work and stuff.
Speaking of missing persons....where did Keith Clarke disappear to!?!?
(sorry for the hijack, Matteson) ;)

I here fellas...
Sean strut rod bushings are an SOB to change but I had to do them on mine. You pretty much have to drop the lower ball joint on each side to do it and even then there is some fuss farting around. It's almost easier to remove the lower control arm assembly all together, as a matter of fact it is easier.
Ryan has the case Jason and will be porting it for me before anything else can be done so we have some time my friend.

Les, first of all, it's great to hear from you!!!
Now, I should have lots of room in my case, because the spindles are removed, and the lower control arms will be gone later tonight. I'm stuck replacing the whole sh'bang!!!
Speaking of which... What's your schedule like this week??? :D

Lets see about a time frame. Once Les pays for the MARCH pulleys he wants from me, I can start the blower case. Time to work on it, would be about week. Time is very tight right now. Buying house takes more time than I ever thought it take. Gotta go here, gotta be there, plus I'm back into overtime at work, so theres 50-60 hours week. I still have to check to see if the bores are round after Mr.wild used SAND PAPER in it, D'OH.

At that rate it will be late this year. maybe Les should just have me port it for him. I still have to check to see if the bores are round after Mr.wild used SAND PAPER in it, D'OH. Ya Ok sure buddy like there not going to be round any more. Maybe if you had of been listening right when I was talking to you all I did was remove the high points with some 120 paper these were made from the rear bearing blowing out. since after putting some better bearings in there the rotors would not turn because of this NOW they will.As well at the time I was make sure to not take the case out of round with tools I know more about this kind of stuff then you might think. I would be more worry that welding to the case would warp it more then removing the little groves that were made from this rubbing. So maybe I do know what I'm doing with a blower so I guess you should just go make a pulley.

Ok 1st off Mr.wild I never said it was out of round. All I said was I had to check to make sure it was STILL round. I have no idea if would be(round) or not, it has lots of miles on it the years. When you gave me the case, I don't remember exactly what you said, that was while ago now, I don't rememeber everything. I check the roundness on all cases. Its not JUST becasue you used sand paper in there. That comment was intended to be a moment where you and I could laugh, I guess I missed judged your homuor.
2nd, if Les would like you to port it, thats fine with me. Maybe I should have told Les I'm busy, oh wait I did on the phone when I talked to him about his case.
3rd, what the hell set you off? I'm not bashing you here am I? I do this kind of stuff for a living and very well I might add. I'm not sure if you know what I make or how even how. I don't know your back ground in this sort of thing, but if you want to share with me, go ahead. I'd be more than willing to listen.
4th, I'm sure you think all the times I have poked fun at you on this forum is something personal. Let me assure, it is not. I never posted on this thread to see you get mad or pissed off. I was just passing along my info, thats all. If you want to rant and rave over me or my work, enjoy, I wont stop you.
Sorry to have caused another forum sh-it flinggin' match guys.
