apparently my first post didn't work, excuse me if this is in error.

I neglected to make an appointment at the exhaust place due to financial situations which i thought might keep me from doin things this week, but those got resolved and so I'm gonna head on over there Friday at 9:30 am or so and at least TALK to them about stuff. Just wanted to thank ya again for your help, but I'm curious as to the size restrictions for the gpacks, or reccomendations, rather. Thanks for any feedback, and actually I guess anyone else could respond as well.

Also, I'll be lookin' for a shop to quickly put on that overdrive pulley, as my local shops as I've found out either take a long ~~~ time or wont do even smple stuff for me. If anyone can suggest alternatives in the south bay that'd be great.

Thanks again all,

EvanSC ... the soon to be more than one mod... motor

Nathan, more info would be good, thanks. Is this the same place you were talking about at the "meet"? hehe

Hey Evan,
You butt licker I waited all day and half the night I thought about spending the night but they kicked me out.
Just kidding. I would say if you do not plan on getting your exhaust opened up then don't waste your time going to the shop. The glass packs are a cheap fix to the exhaust.
If you want to do it once and not have to bother with it again then you should go with a 2-1-2 set up. 2 1/2" from cats to one 3" then dual 2 1/2" with muffs.
That will run you about $500-$700.
I did the glass packs until I could figure out how to fit a side exit exhaust under the bird.
Well, let me know if you have any questions.
Laterz,
D Rainer

P.S. Thanks for letting me pull away from you so quickly when we were at the light. It helped my self esteem.LOL

I was actually surprised to see you at that light.. apparently my SC is having ANOTHER problem.. stumbling under accel, and having three people in the car didnt help either... but hey, if you'd like to believe I LET you do that, then go right ahead, hehe.

As for the shop, I mainly meant for more complicated things. THe exhaust, I had done on friday anyhow, i was there from 9:30, then came in the afternoon at about 2 to get the work done.. sounds ok, and i got the pulley on that day too... i like the power i can feel, but at WOT it stumbles like all hell so i cant really feel the increase. See you soon.

Just a thought maybe your plugs may be bad? I had a problem where under boost the car would miss and junk.

Maybe this will help

Can't help with exhaust but if you want to make a trip up to Fremont then I'll change your pulley for you. All you have to do is pay for your own gas. I hate seeing people waste their money.
