Hey Nathan,
I am pretty sure that Jim was calling out Kevin and not you. I realize that this may have affected you a little more because you are having a similar rebuild on your car.
I am sure Kevin is able to respond to Jim's request if he wants to. I too am glad that the squabbling was squashed. Guys just think about what you are saying and how you say it you never know who is on the other side. It is easy to talk a lot of smack online because there is no retaliation or a lot less would be said on the BBS. Just remember that it takes more of a man to swallow insult than to regurgitate thoughtless, and meaningless comments. If you have a problem with someone send your message to their private E-Mail I am sure a lot can be solved that way.
I would propose that when the Nor Cal SC boys get together we bring boxing gloves and set up a ring and have a free for all. I know for sure there would be a lot less trash talking after that meeting. For the last time I wish people would give up the comments about spelling, that has to be the greatest display of adolescent bull I have ever seen. If you have to resort to comments about spelling then you are reaching too far.
In no way was this post meant to be used as a catalyst for more mindless chatter but rather a comment about past and present posts.

hey jim i'm really disappointed.i stayed out of the last one cause you're all big boys and should be able to say what you want.BUT i've been coming around the sccoa for a while now and i haveta say that the general climate around here has gotten a lot worse.there are some EXTREMELY knowledgable guys out there who were willing to help anyone even if it was to answer the same question over and over again for the benefit of any newbies that happened to come around(we were all new once).well those guys don't come around anymore cause of what this forum has degraded to and believe me when i say anyone who reads these posts has lost a VALUABLE source of information.personal threats in cyberspace are rather ineffective don't you think.and one good lesson in life is no matter how bad you may be there is someone badder than you and the really bad ones don't advertise.i useta do a lot of street racing and that was for money.talking trash was part of the psyche and added to the excitement but what good is it when it leads to bad feelings here for no good reason?why don't you become a help for the cause rather than a hinderance to the well being of this bbs.and please don't take this the wrong way but i really enjoy coming around here and would like to see it go on in a good way.just felt i hadda tell you what was on my mind peace love and woodstock chuck93sc

Yes I should have just let jim go at kevin, but jim didn't do it thru personal e-mail and I am tired of this crap on this board. It is also more then I am friends with kevin or that I want an engine build up like his, it is jim's cockiness. I don't appreciate the fact that people that could really help out newbies like me don't want to they are too busy talking about how their car is better then everyone else's car.
