some idiot tapped my girls car frm behind last friday.after he passes us through the intersection i raise my arms to say ~~~?
he cut her off and boxed us in between his car and the meridian, on derry and ended up in front of us and getting out of his truck.now keep in mind this is at 5:30 on a friday when its bumper to bumper.he gets out of the truck walks over to the pass door where im sitting and b4 i could get both feet on the ground hes slamming the door on my leg!!!
this goes on for 30 sec to 1 min.so with my other leg (and im still inside the car)i kick the door outwards to move him away.he walks bk to his truck
i get out of the car "to see what damages occured " he comes bk at me
i go to lock the door and hit the window button instead (stupid acuras) and he open the door to get me out !!! this goes on till i drill him in the nuts.
not happy after that.my girl freaking out people are out of their cars its kaos.........someone calls it in and when i get hme 2 cruisers at my house.
we tell them the story ,he get booked on assult.now i look at my g.friends car
2 dents on the pass. door the size of a softball and one big one on her hood
all frm this guy.now i need to take him to small claims and the coppers wont give me the info, they say to wait for the paper frm the courts which can take 6 mth to 1 year before we end up there.well...i have his plate # so i go to dmv and req. a plate history, all it gave me was make, vin of car and his name but 411d it and they have 6 and a half pages with this guys name.no addy .cops wont give it to me courts neither.$2000.00 wrth of dents in my girlfriends car now
how can i get this info...i need the addy to sue him..what can i do????

Get his address and do what?????? Something stupid like go there and give him crap? Maybe wreck his truck in the middle of the night?

Go have a cold shower.

If something happens to his ride you'll be the first suspect. If you give him crap at his place he'll probably beat the crap outta you and report you..... then YOU get charged.

I REALLY understand how frustrating the process is but go through the "appropriate channels" and hope for the best - it's about all you can do.

Now go have that shower...prefferably with your girlfriend. ;)

If you have his name I would start looking through all the online phone book sites. If his last name is Jones you might have trouble but if it's something weird and you can match and last name and his first initial and only get like 2-3 matches you could drive by the places and look for the car. Try maybe www.infospace.com or canada411.com or multiple other places. Try various cities close to your area and see what you can find.

Maybe I missed something. If the Police were involved was this not an incident that would have required you to go to report it? Would this not involve you (or them?) making arrangements for court? I always though accidents that involved Police were handled in this fashion?

they say to wait for the paper frm the courts which can take 6 mth to 1 year before we end up there.

That's what i'm going by. Wouldn't you wind up there, one way or another? In any case the lawyer suggestion is what I'd be doing. Let "the suits" beat at each other with their briefcases.
