I'm currently in the process of setting up a vacation at Walt Disney World in Mid-May. Any tips or tricks on making it cheaper? This will be my first trip to Orlando, just wanted to get some input on what I can expect as far as going the cheap route versa the expensive route! Thanks.

Wow Calvin, I quit going to WDW back when I ran out of relatives to accompany in the early 70s, personally I try to avoid the place completely..
Are you coming down in the SC or flying??

I will prolly be driving the Intrepid, but I may come down in the SC.
I went to the WDW web site and looked at the prices.....WOW! I did the 4 day 3 nights with Ultimate park hopper (2 Adults and 2 Children) at the cheapest hotel on the grounds....came out to be around 1300USD. 381USD was just the room, the rest was the tickets. Just trying to see if there is anything that I can do to make it a little more reasonable than a FMIC!

Yea, you need to bring the whole savings account when you actually try to stay on the actual WDW grounds out there.. Let me see if I can find anything discount wise that might help you out there...

Ahh, my long lost relative in FL. I remember now! I know FL residents can get killer prices on tickets from the WDW web site. Thanks for the help.
Well you could stay at Fort Wilderness. It is a camp site that is really cheap and it's not like your typical camp ground. It's Disney nice. And it's right on the monorail.

Not really into camping in FL in May.......heat, bugs, etc. etc. Thanks though.

Hey Calvin, sorry I didn't get back sooner, our office picnic is this weekend and the lady that does our offers is messing around on that the last three days... She said that as of last Tuesday there were no current offers for WDW Tickets... She said she'd check again on this coming Tuesday since it's the first of the month and see if she has anything come thru..
