I thought everyone got them at Canadian Tire, but when I called they said they don't list anythign for the Supercoupe idler. Anyone got a part number for them or where I can get them, my plastic ones are in rough shape.

At Ford P/N YS-233 about $21 each
-3" cobra? part, reuse your old bolt, not quite wide enough but work
or Dayco offers a slightly wider pulley that you may also use
-Dayco 89005 2 7/8" stock supercharger idler size
-Dayco 89007 3" more tension for sc belt and stock replacement for other two
I personally use the 3" Ford ones and haven't had any problems with them. A lot of guys drill the washer on the new bolt out to the larger size of the stock SC bolt so they have a dust shield for the bearing but that's up to you. You might want to get 3 3" Dayco ones, I've never used them but if they are wider then this would be better.

I think there's a better version of the Dayco 3" pulley. It's not 89007. I've got a box from one at my place. I think it might be 89016, but Steve Richards may remember off-hand. I got the box from him when we installed them on his car. This is a 3" pulley that is wider than the 89007, or that has a better bearing position/offset in relation to the Super Coupe setup.
Best regards,

Hi Jamie,
Canadian Tire does sell them. There are two sizes. The larger ones are harder to get since there are only 2 stores that have them and I don't think there are any in their warehouse. If they look under a 1989, none are listed since there is a problem with their database. I got them to look under a 1990 and spotted both codes. The second one listed is the larger one.
All the idler pulleys are the same size and I think it's listed under a/c idler or steering idler pulley.
Hope that helps.

Just to be clear, Steve, does '89016' sound familiar to you too? I'm pretty sure that's the part number of the pulleys we put on your car.
Cheers,
Sean
