I sold my SC recently and was looking for a Z28 or WS6. After having no such luck finding what I wanted, Ford sucked me back in!

Delivered today was a nice, Atlantic Blue 1999 Mustang GT. Why was I thinking GM? :D As the car sits now, she's running a 14.1 @ 99MPH with a MAC Cat-Back exhaust and K&N filter. Many, many more mods to come over the next few weeks and months.

Maybe I'll see a few of the SC boys at the track? :)

I have a previous engagement that I have to attend to on Saturday. There's still a whole spring/summer left of racing :)

Congratulations, Steve! Welcome to the wonderful land of the 4.6. ;)

Viva la 4.6!!!

Sorry you can't make it out to the track this Saturday. I'm sure we'll see you out and about.

Thanks! I have to admit, there's NO exhaust note better than a V8 Mustang. I could literally just sit and listen to it grumble!

That is the truth. NOTHING sounds better than a Stang. Except maybe a Ford GT :D

I figured with the money I would save on the car I could spend on modifications.....I hope the wife doesn't know what's planned (Insert evil laugh here). :D

I had a look at Steve's new toy, very nice and nice growl to it too.
It's sick, intake and exhaust and 14.1's. :D

Thanks Andrew :D BTW, the 14.1 was with just the cat-back and a 2.2 60' :p Now with the intake, SFC's and a nice sticky tire....I'm aiming for atleast a mid 13 :)

It's making it easier to move on from the SC, that's for sure :)

Did you black out the wheels?

I haven't seen anyone do that before. It looks good with your blue.

Are you frequenting the 'Stang forums now? ...Their classifieds?

I might be looking for a pair of 16" 'Stang wheels soon so I can buy and mount up some stickies for the drag-strip. If you could keep an eye open for me, I'd appreciate it, Steve!

Best regards,

Sean

Yea, we did the wheels in a black satin and left the lip silver. Just being different :)

This car actually came with an extra set of Mustang rims from a 96 vert....I think they are 16" but I can check. Would you be interested?

Steve,

Those wheels look good on your car. I'd like to see it in person, but judging from the pic in your sig, it looks great!

If you've got two or four 16" 'Stang GT wheels (the 'waffle' style) that will take a reasonable set of stickies, I might be interested in two of them and I think I know someone else who might be interested in the other two. Please double-check for me and let me know.

Best regards,

Sean

It's a love hate thing with the black w/silver lip rims.

My father's reaction was the best "Those look terrible". :D

He's an "ol'school" guy that thinks I'm the only guy on Earth with rims like this..... LMAO. When I show him pics of his Z06 with similar rims, he might puke :)

Sean, I'll check those rims tomorrow if I get the time. I have all 4 and they all have snow tires on them....pretty good shape too!
