I have the blower all apart right now and have a new solid coupler that did not quiet it down. No play in the front shaft. Im hopeing its just the rear bearings. Has anyone replaced these and found peace and quiet from there blower?

Well after all the crap I just went through its a little better but after it warms up it still rattles a little. Next time I will try shot gun fast and pain less. Thats why we love - hate these cars.

It is your nose cone bearings. Are you sure that it is your blower?Try removing the blower belt from the car and start the car to make sure!

Hello

Hello,
I would second the last post. Make sure it is not your jackshaft.
I thought that my blower was in need of rebuilding so I had it ported and rebuilt. When I got it back on the car it still made the same sound.
It turned out to be the jackshaft. I replaced the whole bracket with a used one and did not have any more Marbles in my engine bay he he.
Good luck.
Laterz,
D Rainer
