Well, my business adventure is dead now. SCI will not be making any more pulleys or anything for that matter. The shop thats does my work(the main reason in this) can not do things the way we have before in the past. I'm not blaming them for this, but I do have to draw a line somwhere. Now other factors are in there as well, my personal situation has changed alot in the 1st year of SCI, most of all in the last 2 months. Thus taking away time I used to have for projects.

A few projects that seemed like they would never stop costing money, did just that, never stopped costing me cash. That was a stinger also. I guess some things are better left untouched. The time it takes to make something new, is WAY to much for me too. Cost on R&D work is sky high. I just don't have the time I once did for this. I'm not looing that as a bad thing, things have changed for me & for the better. I wish I could keep this going, but I just can't do it.

I can't compete with prices already, so even higher ones wouldn't make sense. I wish things cost less, but they don't, nothing I can do about that. I'm also tired of having people go out of their way to send me emails that are negitive. I can't believe people have that kind of time to add to a post and be negitive, who has time for that? People even question dyno charts, that I will never understand. I hate to sound like I'm b!tching, its just that this WAS something I wanted to see grow, but it won't now, so I'm upset about that, nothing personal to anyone. I guess I'm just mad at myself right now for the failure.

Whatever I have left is it, no more production. Once their all gone, their gone. Thats why I have that spring sale on right now. I think it would sound depressing to call it a "going out of business sale". I just couldn't type that up.

I have to thank all of you who did support my adventure, and all of those who took time out to give advice. All your time was very much appreicated by me.

Sorry to hear about that Ryan......wish it would have worked out better. For what it's worth......I love the jackshaft pulley you made, you were with me at the dyno to see the HP gain. :)

Good luck with whatever else is next.

Ryan,

I'm really sorry to hear this. I had no idea things were going this rough. I had hoped to see your efforts pay off, and SCI become something huge! I thought that might work out to be a good thing for you.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again... I've been very pleased with the aluminum jackshaft pulley that I bought from you, and also with all the porting work that you've done on my blower and intake/IC plumbing. I have yet to bolt some of that stuff on my car, but I'm sure it won't hurt performance, and it's likely it will help at least a little.

Regardless of what you do in the future, I wish you all the best, and I hope that in spite of what's happening with SCI, we'll still enjoy your company around the SCCoO and SCCoA for a good long time to come!

Sincerely,

Sean

This sucks. It looks like you had some nice stuff and while I'm sure you've thought about this but have you tried to find another shop to produce this stuff?

all i could say is that this sucks. from what i've seen and heard you really made a quality product and i couldn't wait till you started the design of the 4.6 pullies. i guess that will never happen.

anyway, best of luck in your future ventures.

Ryan, that sucks when you have the initiative, and make the effort to get something going, and you're not able to continue with it.

Hopefully in the future, conditions will change to make it possible for you to have another go at the business.

cheers,
Ed N.

Ryan is there any way of finding a new supplier? I really really don't want to see this happen, let me know what I can do to help. I am really interested in seeing this stay afloat. Lets try and get this problem fixed. I was actually gonna talk to you about this when I picked up my pulleys, but form our conversation I thought things were fine adn you were gonna keep going. Shoot me an email bro, maybe we can find something to work. Let me knwo what you need and I'll see if I can find any connections, not promising anything but my uncle knows a lot of people through building race cars maybe we can figure somethign out.
