Moonroof Seal

I have noticed a lot of road noise coming from my moon roof, so I figure the seal needs to be replaced. Is it possible to recondition these to seal correctly again? If not, does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

I have used this webasto seal, and it works OK.

They had no idea about ever making a SC sunroof though... Just ask them for the part number, they will not be able verify that it fits your vehicle.....

seems like is was abotu 30mbucks... but don't quot enme on that....

Thanks for the info everyone. I assume the seal is fairly easy to install? Remove the old, clean the area, apply adhesive and stick the new one in?

Yeah, I used some 3m weatherstrip adhesive from wally world to seal it up... Don't do it on the nice dinning rom table if ya have one though, it is sticky and can easily make a mess!

Don't pi$$ the ole lady off wid it!

The FAQ link I posted has some installation info. You want to cut it a little long to allow for shrinking. Do not stretch the seal as you install it.
