I've had this idea for a while. I'd like to know what y'all think and after I get it done, I post some pics. I'm going to take a shifter boot from a 5 speed and replace the auto shifter indicator with it. I figure there is no indicator for a 5 speed, you just know what gear you are in from the shifter position. I think that goes for the auto too. I very rarely look down at the indicator, so I thought having the boot instead might look a little sportier. Has anyone else done this? What do y'all think?

Nice touch....since SC's were the only 5speed tbirds the boys over at the TCCoA who have mostly automatic have done this quite a bit. There's pix of that all over their boards. Check it out.

Hey Scott, those pics look good. They look like 94/95, so I hope it will look that good on my 91, as the console is different on 89-93.
I'll check out the TCCoA too CaifanSC. Thanks for the info.
