I just picked up a '93 (Gen. II) SHO. The car belonged to my older brother, so I know where it has been, and it is in really good shape for having 187K miles. It does have a slight oil leak somewhere around the front seal and could probably use new outer tie-rod ends, but everything else checks out fine. As far as I can tell, the only similarity between the SC and the SHO is the DIS. It's very strange to see the (Yamaha) engine sitting "sideways" under the hood. Took me a while to figure out which side was the "front" of engine. For a "normally aspirated", front wheel drive, 4-door sedan, this thing is really quick! Can't wait to start the "upgrading" process... Just don't know if I'll ever get use to smoking the front tires, though..... :D

Hey whats up
I have a 94 SHO and a 90 SC. The SHO is definetly a fun car to drive because it looks like a grocery getter and when rice comes buy they dont even think to race but when they do it sure is funny watching the taurus win haha. I like both cars but i like the SC more haha. if u ever need any good info on the SHO to to either www.shoforum.com or www.shotimes.com. They have provided me alot of help like this site has. Have fun with both cars :)

Thanks for the links...I have been surfing the different SHO sites. They are pretty good, but they don't seem to have the level of detailed info that I find on the SCCoA... (maybe I'm a bit biased) The SC will always be my #1 ride. The SHO is something I'm working on so that my wife will have her own "hotrod". It's definitely a much faster car than it looks. Probably has a healthy appetite for "fried rice", too!!! :D

Congrats on the new car, I've owned three shos and still have one that I am trying to sell right now(94 MTX with 62k on it). They are great cars lots of fun to drive and nice power. That Yamaha is quite a nice looking and sounding motor. The only down side was the front wheel drive for me but I know I will miss those secondaries opening up at 4k rpms.
