I need a new bearing for my alternator, its a 94-95 style, but its a mustang alternator.Same difference. Anyways its the front case bearing, the part number on the stock bearing is 6303LUA then it says U859 and NTN, can anyone help me find this bearing? I have no idea where to look and I remember folks on here looking for blower bearings before, so where did you guys get them?

Jamie,
I'm no expert, but I believe NTN is the name of the bearing manufacturer. The 6303 refers to the size of bearing, and the LUA and/or U859 are probably special designations refering to whether the bearing is sealed, how thick it is, etc. If you phone a couple of industrial supply places and ask for an NTN bearing with number 6303LUA U859, they should be able to hook you up.
Cheers,
Sean

I've used CBS Equipment Limited in the past, and they were most helpful. I would highly recommend using these guys. They had supercharger bearings shipped to me very quickly.

Sean how did you order parts from them? Did oyu just call them or can you order online, I checked that website and they don't list anything in the way of ordering parts or seeing if they carry the bearing I need.

SWEET DEAL, I found my old busted alternator and safely removed the bearing and installed it in the new powdercoated case, should have it back together in no time and if all goes well may start the car tomorrow.

u may wanna rethink that...depnding on how old that bearing is. i wouldn't recomend reusing that bearing cause 6303 bearings do not last for ever..now if that bearing is fairly new than use it but if its original i would recomd starting fresh

the bearing was fine the alternator had bad brushes and the case was broken. Its easily replaced so if it goes I can replace it easily at that time.
