It's time for a new engine...

After flying down the highway at approx 140mph (damn that was fun), i pulled off and noticed a hard knocking... i drove back home with the hazards on at about 10 miles an hour.. too far and way too late at night to make a phone call...

My personal mechanic is thinking a busted rod...

This engine is in garbage condition as it is and at least needed a rebuild..
So i said screw it, lets get a new one..

My question is, how much am I going to have to throw down for just an engine??

a short block uses your old heads on the new motor i havent searched for long blocks but i saw short blocks at morana v6 racing, i would pull the motor and pull the bottom pan you may just need a crank and a rod it would be way cheaper

Long block just means there are more parts included like heads, lifters, pushrods, intake manifold ect..

where did you find this at morana i cant find it

I picked up a short block for about $1250 from Ford with 3/36 warranty. I dropped that in when I blew a rod & I'm pushing over 350rwhp through it. .. Seems to be working fine.
