Dumb C&L MAF question!

I took the MAF off my '94 SC and disassembled to clean. I went traveling and when I got back I forgot which way the sample tube goes in. Now, I have the slanted tube end toward the K&N filter. Is that correct? When you get old they say the first thing to go is the memory and I can't remember what the second thing is. Any help would be appreciated.

You have the sampling tube in correctly. The other way the tube wouldl stick out the MAF.
