I know that this subject has been addressed many times on this forum, but most of the the recommendations I've seen are for a 245 50 16 tire, or to go with a 17" or 18" wheel. I am thinking of getting the 16x8 silver Cobra Rs, with 235 60 16 tires. My reasoning is that I don't want to lower the car, and it seems that the 235 60 16s should fill the wheel wells better than the stock 225 60 16s. The roads I drive on are in terrible shape and I like having some suspension travel and rubber between me and the bumps. Also, it looks like there would be a minimum of spedometer error with this size.
