Confused....which diff fluid?

I am going to be changing my diff fluid soon. I have search on this but there seems to be a bunch of different answers as to which fluid to use. Should it be synthetic or not? And what weight? I have found people using 80W95, 75W90 and 75W140. Does it really matter? And its 4oz of friction modifier with that right?

Thanks a bunch

If you go with conventional gear oil, 75W90 is the way to go. I would use Ford gear oil. 4oz of friction modifier is to be used with the oil. A better alternative is Redline synthetic, in which case no modifier is used.

I did a little searching and could not come up with a viscosity recommendation. The Ford part # is EOAZ-19580-A. The Ford specification # is ESP-M2C154-A. The container of the oil chosen should state that the gear oil meets or exceeds this standard. From what I have learned, 75W/140 is for severe continuous duty such as heavy duty trucks etc and it may not even work properly with limited slip.
