Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield: July 17th!

Fairfield is about the middle of most of us. Meet there about 11am, do the tour, then grab some grub and chat!

Weekend Tours
On weekends, we still conduct our full 40-minute factory tours, but since our candy makers are at home with their families, we give our candy making machines a rest. Video monitors show the different steps of our famous candy making process.

Visitor Center Cafe
Have lunch at the Jelly Belly Cafe where you can order Jelly Belly-shaped pizza and hamburgers. Ready for coffee and dessert? Stop at the Java Bar for espresso drinks or wander over to the ice cream counter for truly decadent ice cream cones. There's even an outdoor patio and picnic area to dine al fresco if you prefer sunshine to neon lights.

Well? Who is game to cruise with me? Does not matter what you drive, I aint shy to race it. :p

Will have my 427 1963 Galaxie XL ready for this meet and yes she will be the most powerful and fastest car there.

This is great what time we meet in Sac and where?
Will bring my helmet just in case I run into a white SC with a lady driving it "Girl power" vs "MAN POWER" :eek: cant waite Wendy you plan Sweet Meets ;) the 17th or 24th works for me

sorry for the latish reply, we can meet up with you around I5 and I80, I'll have to "remember" some place around there for meeting. Checked out your web site, sweet job you have done to your bird! ;)

Also, I have been asked to request changing the date to July 10. For the weekend of July 16th and 17th is the Fox Hunt (http://www.sacramentoraceway.com/WSCLODRS.htm) at the Sac Raceway. How does everyone feel on changing the date up one weekend?

Well sorry ya'll I can't make it now. I won't be visiting up north long enough now to hang out with you guys. My husband and I are finally moving into Navy housing in July and I have to be here at my house for the navy to move me. We have been waiting for this for a long time now.

So are we all gonna meet at the Jelly Belly factory? July 10th would be bad for me as I have to take the Stationary Engineer's apprentice exam in the morning and I don't know how long it's gonna last.

Are we going to be doing any cruising after? The truck doesn't like the twisties too much. But with gas prices the way they are I'll probably bring the Tbird anyways.

It's not Sam that needs a short leash, it's me. Next to Gummi Bears jelly beans are a one of my candy addictions. I'm not sure if the family is joining me. Sue will be returning from her horse show in Reno on the 14th and may not want to go for a drive.
As far as hooking up for the drive I can meet you guys either in Vacaville or West Sac. If you want another member for the convoy then West Sac. would be good. The AM PM (?) off of Reed Ave. is near a famliar landmark of mine.
Just tell what time.
160MPH??? :eek: Now we'll need to talk about that. :D I use to drive that fast until they took my bowtie away on the back of a flatbed truck. It was sold for a bid of $2700.00.

Well Gang count me out for Saturday. My Bird is dead in the water right now. I had to have one of my buddies jump start the beast so the kid and I could escape the 98 degree heat and get home to some cool a/c. Right now I guessing the battery is toast as a result of a bad Alternator. The rest of my week is busier than normal since Sue is in Reno at her horse show. She won't be back until late Wed. Tomorrow is swim lesson day for Sam plus all of the other everyday things. Thursday We'll be pouring concrete all morning and Friday is the ah so disliked graveyard shift. So Saturday is most likely wrench turning day.
When I get the car running again I'll be putting a for sale on it. I really don't have much time to really enjoy the car anymore. I'll post the car as soon as its running again.
Have fun Sat. and don't ingest too many jelly beans.
