Anyone have pics of 2002 7 spoke tbird Wheels on a SC????

Theres a guy in my town selling 2002 17" chrome 7 spoke tbird wheels with brand new tires for 1000$, I going to try to jew him down a bit more but was wondering what ya'll thought about em on a sc? Lets hear it, or see it =).

Actually the late t/bird has the same bolt pattern as ours as well as the lincoln ls & the jaguar s-type. They have a different offset. They will sit further in. A guy in Canada I believe had the lincoln ls wheels.

I know the bolt pattern is the same, and I knew the offset was a bit different, but do they work on our cars.. or will the offset make such a big difference that the brakes will rub of something like that?

I seen a guy in town with em on a 96-97 bird. Thought it looked a lil korny. I guess it just isn't in my tastes. Didn't look bad though, just not for me.

I saw an ann'y bird the other day with those very wheels on it. I thought they looked great. I may actually do that swap if I can find them for a reasonable price until I get the wheels I really want. I didn't get a chance to talk to the driver to see if she had used spacers, but they didn't look like they are offset much different than ours. They did tuck under a little more, but not much. I say go for it. I don't have a pic, but hopefully I'll see her around again to try and talk to her.

aren't those rims thinner than the SC rims.

if you really wanted i could jack 2 off my grandmas car and put them on my car and take a pic for ya. I thought about it myself, but seeing that i park right next to her everyday, Ive come to the conclusion that they wont look too great on the mn12. But if you really want a peek, it shouldnt be too hard, just give me a day or 2. Zach

Sorry, hella busy with work at infinion, I will be able to swich them for you on monday to give you an idea of look. The 02 look taller and seem like they will fit the wheelwell better than the 90 rims. Sorry for the delay but been very busy makin the money for MY bird. Zach

Np man. I've also been busy with work. I graduated high school two weeks ago, and started my full time job on our cities park crew. We mow/weedeat/change trash bags/clean all the parks in our city. I get 6.50$ an hour and 40 ours a week, so I like it. Can't wait till I get done with college though. I'm going for mechanical engineering and will hopefully get a job at a car company designing cars. Maybe one day I'll bring back the SC for ford =P.
