I know some of you already have one of these from the factory, but I wasnt that fourtunate. I bought an auto because the car was so clean I couldnt pass it up. Ive been looking for a 5spd console off and on for the last 5 or so years hoping to eventually do the conversion. Luckily I found one when my auto went belly up, so its the perfect time to swap! Im going to be so glad to rid myself of the slushbox. Its weird to think the one thing that held me back from doing the swap for so long was one freaking piece of plastic! :x

If I read this correctly you ARE doing the swap from auto to 5 speed in a 94 model. If so I want your auto console. P.M. me with a price and how you would like the $$$ sent.
Thanks, upfront.

thanks for posting the picture for me since mine wasnt working.
Im most likely keeping my auto console cause im weird like that. I like to give all my old parts to the new owner when/if I sell. If I do decide to sell the console top cause I have no use for it ill let you know. Shouldnt be too hard to find one for sale on the classifieds section.

search wrecking yards that have a 94/5 SC manual in inventory. Then buy the console......if no one else has. I paid 50 bucks for mine and it was well worth it.
dont hack one of these up for an experiment. Its too hard to find them in decent shap and someone is probably out there searching like crazy for one they need.

If you think the console is hard to come by, the switches that reside in it are too. Last check, the dealer wanted around $80 per switch for the 94-96 style consoles.

Send me an email so i can keep your address. Ill test the switches and if they work ill gladly sell them to you cheaply if you need them. they are of no use to me.

$50 for the console......man that was a great find! These are even hard to find for the automatics...and it will get worst as the non-sc guys are searching for these too to put on their cars! By the way, as far as the switches go I agree they're also hard to find...except for the 94-95 sc foglight switch. While browsing the net i came to find that the foglight switch for 99+ mustangs will work perfectly. Its a different part number, but only for pricing purposes...the actual switch is EXACTLY the same, and you can find for as low as 20 bux brand new.
