With regard to the following post from April: http://www.sccoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44663&highlight=motorsport, the time has come for FCI (Forced Cold Induction) to show its presence. Over the next several weeks, Kris Campos and I will be working together on completing the improvements and updates to the former ZR Motorsport intake kit that was available for the thunderbird SC. What FCI needs now is a logo to use for stickers and a new website. We are asking for anyone interested to submit your version of what the FCI logo should look like for the company's use. We are interested in high quality JPEG or preferably vector format files.
If your logo is picked, we will give you $100 off the purchase of the new FCI intake along with free shipping. This is conditional upon the release of all rights and ownership of the logo to FCI upon acceptance. Please submit your drawings to: Paul@BlueTongueMotorsports.com and put "FCI Logo" in the subject line. Any questions or comments may be directed to me in this thread, via PM or email. This offer is open to anyone interested in participating, not just SC owners. Upon release of the SC kit, FCI will also be introducing its 96-97 4.6L cold air kit and 89-97 3.8L n/a cold air kit.

A side note, we can have a professionally designed logo and letterhead created for $100, it was my decision to give the community members a chance at having direct input and gain from this before subcontracting it out to a company.

just a personal opinion or maybe just a suggestion...

You should post the submitted logos on sccoa, maybe in the polls forum...i wouldn't mind seeing what they look like :D , and that way you'd have some consumer feedback on the logo's. just a thought, no hurt feelings if opposed.

I am hoping to get a few submissions gathered then post them up before final selection. So far, I have only received a submission from one person.

Sounds good, by the time you get your car up and running with n/a numbers using the new intake before I turbo it.

I should expand a bit on my original post. There is no rush on this as it will be at least 2 weeks before we settle on anything. Priority should be noted to the FCI letters as they will be the branding part of the company and reside on all of the company's products in some form or another. My BTM logo be it the letters or the tongue are used in a symbolic way to identify the product upon first site and that is what we are after with FCI.
As much as I hate to bring it up, the SCPerformance.com logo (specifically the SCP letters) was IMO fantastic at accomplishing this goal. See the attached SCP logo below:

Wow, including Al's I have received a total of 3 submissions from the SCCoA and about 15 in total. Kris and I hope to make a decision this week, in case anyone else wants to submit their version. If you have already submitted a drawing, you are welcome to submit additional drawings until a choice is made.

Just as a general idea, using the sleave color & chrome cylinder appearance in the fonts. Obviously ANY color scheme or font can be used.
