my last time at the track with all my mods was a 14.9 at 96.7 mph witha 2.5 60ft. I am getting my 3.27's installed today and will run it again next week. I have a set of cheater slicks that im going to use. If I get a 2.2 60ft or so do you think it would run a 13.9 with the gears?

You might be able to hit a high 13 w/ a decent launch. You should be able to do better then 2.2's w/ slicks  . I can cut 2.0-2.1's on street tires in most things I've driven.

they never prep the track at IRP for the tuesday night drags so its hard to get traction even if you do a burnout. if you get ther first there might be some traction compound still there from an event or something and might be able to get a decent time.

With the mph your running it might be possible to get a very high 13, but I think your more likely to get a 14.1 unless you get that 60 ft. time down to under 2.0

yea those 60 fts look bad. im 16 and my first time to the track i cut a 2.44 60 with a 94 v6 stang open rear and 205 allseasons. i think you should be able to get a 2.2 60 with stock tires

I went to the track today but im not to happy. my best time was still a 14.9
here is the full run
60' ...2.232

I used to trap at 96 before the gears I was trappin between 92 and 95 today and crossing the traps about 4600 RPM in 4th. What would make my car run faster I think some better tires would because after the 60ft the would start spinning . Should I be crosing the traps that high of RPM in 4th with 3.27's?
