Fitting size trans cooler ports AOD ?

I'm installing a stand alone trans cooler in my 93 SC and using 6AN braided hoses, but can't remember the thread size on the hard line fittings that attach to the transmission.

David, on my 89 AOD I have a 1/4 NPT going into another fitting that looks like a 3/8 NPT or a straight thread. Hope this helps.
