Water-to-air aftercooler works great.

First off this is on my Vortech supercharged 3.8L T-bird but none the less its a water-to-air setup. Here are my finding so far and I like the numbers I'm seeing.

Outside air temp = 75*F
Water in the tank temp = 80*f (its in my trunk)
Outlet temp of vortech supercharger @ 8psi = 170*f
Outlet temp after the Vortech aftercooler = 90*f

This was all recorded during my dynotune with SCT last weekend. My car pulled 255rwhp/273rwtq SAE with 8psi boost with mildly ported heads and a 205/216 cam on a stock n/a bottom end with a conservative tune. I'm seeing a temperature of only 10*f above the water temp at 8psi which it pretty good and I'm loosing less than 1psi boost through the aftercooler. If I still had my 90sc I would be working on a aftercooler setup right away :D maybe when I find the legendary Midnight blue 95 5speed I'm looking for. After some sprited driving I never seen the water temps climb above 95*f in the tank and the Ability to toss Ice in the tank is gunna be great at the track.
