I'm wonderig whatis the problem with narrowband???

Is it response???

I would think i could use some kind of PC IO card to log the data with labview or maybe just write a little program for logging an O2 sensor, but can i do that with a narrow band, or would the ifo be useless?????

Thanks!

Basically the narrow band (most OE O2 sensors) are only concerned with reporting a narrow band of the A/F ratio. They are good at telling the computer when the AF mixture is going in and out of stoich (an “ideal” 14.7:1 AF ratio).

The wideband units report data all the way up and down the AF range. The narrow band units do better at reporting in and out of the stoich range, while the widebands provide more linear data all through the range. The output from the narrow bands do not provide enough range to be translated into wideband readings.
