1. Where is the low side port on the a/c.
2. I have to jump out the low press. switch to get the compressor to run.
Am i going to lose my R12 charge if i have to change the low pressure switch out. Blows cold when the comp. is running, but will check it out better tomorrow when i get home from work.
3. what kind of pressure ( ball park ) should i be running.
4. Don't want to switch to r134 either cause my friend still has 20 or so lbs of r12 left.
thanks

if presure on high side is more than 250 you probaly have a blockage
low side (suction side } should be 30-40 on gauge i would recomend hooking a set of gauges to it before you do anything to see what you have it sounds like the switch may be bad it shouldnt take a lot of presure to engauge switch

OK, the low pressure switch was bad ( nice having a parts car around) changed it out. Hooked up the gauges to it and toped it off and it cools like a champ.
thanks
