spring and shock question

Ive been searching but havent found everything I want to know before I order my springs and shocks. I think im going to get the eibach 1.5 inch lowering springs and want to know if the KYB shocks will work well with them. The shocks on SHOX.com have kyb's but they say there not for the SC. Can I use those anyway and just take off the automatic ride control? Do I have to do any cutting to the car to make the regular KYB shocks fit? Does anybody have any pictures of there car lowered 1.5 inches with 17's?

I have heard of someone putting KYB shocks on their SC. You might try doing a search in the member area for "KYB" and see what comes up. Or, you are more than welcome to drive down this weekend to Lexington and test drive mine to see how it corners with the Eibach and Tokico set up. Of course I only have the 16's, but we could swap them.
