stock 5 spd shift knob availability??

Anyone know if the stock 5 speed shift knob is still available from ford? I stopped in the other day to check and the parts guy told me it was discontinued. Is that true?

It's possible it's discontinued. When it was available it was very expensive.

Yes, they were discontinued by Ford as of about 9 months ago. Some dealers may still have them around, try a search on www.partsvoice.com. Ford p/n was E9SZ 7213 A.

There was a guy trying for 6 months, to sell a NOS 5-spd knob in E-bay. He wanted a LOT of money for it though.
