New Tbird Free Self-Portraits!
Obviously none of you has gone to the annual local
Car Show or else we'd be getting an ear full on
lots of evolutionary developments...which I'll leave
to the younger crowd to handle...lol! (!)
I'll just say I skipped Sunday due to the 10 mile long
line up...lol! Saying to myself, and after I buy the
damn ticket, these same loafers will be in there
blocking any and every angle of view...lol!
So I went today: Few bodies. Great sights. Lotsa
new directions to concepts, etc.
Newbies on the block as a definite trend:
Motorcycles!
Watch next year: We'll see tons by those mfg's
that make 'em besides their autos...!
Suzuki blew it by NOT showing off their highest
speed bike that turfed the Z06 in a test just
completed. Last time done: 10 years ago!
This time bike won definitively !!!
NOW, for the best part:
Tbirds ARE HIGHLIGHTED at this year's show !!!
Stangs are minimized !!!
AND, they have a permanent setup for a FREE
picture of YOU sitting in a red bird convertible,
looking left! So, guys, definitely shave THAT side
of uer face (!)
Can do a group shot if u wish, uer choice!!!
Just fill in a very short questionnaire, sit, click,
come back (or wait) 5 minutes, and you get a
5x7 mounted in a clear plastic holder.
Now if that ain't a deal that pays for itself to go in
there, I don't know what does...lol!
AND, u gotta see the NEW Tbird concept car of
the fewt (means: Future!):
the FORTY NINE !
Man, is it rad, rad, and again I say, rad !
(Sleek, all black motif, 4 seater, domed ceiling,
full-length center console running the length of the
car, 3.9L, DOHC, 32 valve, V8 !)
Obviously, Ford is NOT abandoning our loving Bird!
