Nice pics. Looks like you backed up a little too far...

Re: Pics

I was thinking the same thing Jim, he must be trying to cut the grass with his vallance:rollin:

Re: :)

naw... people in res are generally careless... so i try to get back as far as i can so they dont open their doors into me... if you look at where their doors would open its at the front of the car... so unlikely I'll get dinged.... always gotta be looking out for things like that!

Thanks tho!

Re: Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder !

Hey, Tony, I too love uer car! Is it a 35th that is
repainted? Or did u put 35th seats in there???

And what overall mechanical shape is it in???
Mileage, etc.?

Hope you enter it next year in the Vancouver
Motorsport Show! Let the public also see such
great SC's...! Peace, virgil

Re: Bored so I took Pics...

Parked like that you won't get door dings, you'll get fender dings.

Re: Virtue is its own punishment (!)

For my fenders, I put the thin-walled black plastic
molding around each fender wheel well. It builds up
the fender protrusion and is un-noticed until pointed
out... Also, a stip the length of the back of the
hood by the wipers: Serves as a mini-bug deflector
and wind sheer saver on the heads of the wipers...
and when scraping winter ice, protects the painted
back hood edge...lol!

Re: Virtue is its own punishment (!)

Fender Dings.... assuming that the doors open wide enough, and are low enough... Point being, its far less likely.

Virgil - Yes its a 35th... Bought it two years ago with just under 100,000 km on it... Its mint.... all around, seats, paint, you name it, wheels too, I just dont have them on. Thats why it got first place at the Show and Shine last year!!!!
Soon enough It should be back on the mainland then you can see it again.

Re: Virtue is its own punishment (!)

when you comin to my neck of the woods anyways Tony? Was it next weekend? You bringing the car?

I can't remember if it is you or scott coming next weekend, and who is coming the weekend of my graduation.

Anyways, I hope you got an alarm because I am after your seats, :p

Re: Virtue is its own punishment (!)

So, Tony, go for entering it in the Vcr M/S show
next year and I pray u get 1st place !!!

You should, though: Let me know if u plan to so
I can share what Miles & I learned (as novices!)
in entering this past year...lol! That way you'll be
spared some innocent mistakes we made due to
ignorance of the protocals...

Although it was not relevant to me, my '35th was
classified as "stock" and came 2nd, whereas a '98
Camaro came 1st ! Prob mine could have done it
had I not made the mistakes I did...lol! So, mainly,
if you put on the 35th wheels, I think they too
will class yours as stock and you'll face the same
guy with his '98 red Camaro: He's been entering it
for a bunch of years and eats off the plaques, lol!
He conversed much with me throughout the show
because was worried I'd beat him...1(!)
