I would make a template out of cardboard and have a glass shop cut you one. Then just glue it on.

I purchased a complete assembly for my 90 in Nov 03 from
www.fordpartsnetwork.com

At the time they told me the following.

"The mirrors are sold complete, mirror glass only, or replacement motor. The mirror assy is unpainted"

You may want to give them a try, they usually have good pricing. Sells Ford/Motocraft parts at a discount.

If your in south jersey go to Vans auto parts on RT 49 just south of Salem and Qiunton they have a few Birds in there Junk Yard there # is 1-856-451-1998 ask for Wayne.
