Got into a little fender bender yesterday. My front bumper is a complete write off. There's well over $1000 in damage and it was only like a 5km/hr hit.Now my insurance is going to go though the roof because some a-s-s-hole decided to slam on the brakes in front of me and he had no brake lights. This really sucks.

Thats what I'm going to try and do but some cop told me that it doesn't matter. I'm going to go and talk to my Lawyer and see what he thinks.

Yeah, unfortunately they've gotcha - as you are "always" supposed to be maintaining a safe distance. That's what they'll throw at you.
Too Bad - it's maddening.
