Have you ever removed the engine and trans together on an SC?
I took my car and another to a shop to have the engine and trans swapped, they told me that they could not remove the engine and trans together as a unit so im getting charged for re and re on 2 engines and 2 trans. Bull ~~~~~ right?

Its Unlikely that you could pull it out as a solid unit... Ive never removed my engine, but have remvoed my tranny several times... It would be alot easier (and safer) for the shop to take the tranny off, and then pull the engine, and probably takes the same amount of time. In which case, you get charged REMOVAL of the engine, and tranny, and REPLACEMENT of the Engine and the Tranny.... SO really its not like you are getting charged Re and Re twice... Since theres two cars, and everything has to be removed on each car... Of course you are going to pay double.. its twice the job..

Last one was on a 5.0 MN-12 like 2 days ago(but the car was going to the crusher):P, sure some stuff was scratched etc.
It can be done...on a SC the drivers side exhaust manifold is too close to the larger ABS/Disk brake reservoir, one wrong move and it will break. It has to be done on a vehicle lift while using a large engine lift, but I would rather pay the extra to have it done without taking chances.
The old engine I would cut the crushed rad support and pull it out as a unit though(saves time).
