Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

Was just covered few days ago on American site...
u should be able to find it under same heading.

Something like 4 oz. and expensive from Ford.
Some are pushing the GM version cause it's cheaper.
For me, for such a "critical part application,"
I wouldn't fart with mother nature: Go Ford, Go !

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

Virgil, you and the guys had this discussion before and everyone said use the GM stuff. The ford stuff is $15 a bottle, which i do not think is that bad. Or was that the Price of the GM stuff? I can't remember now.

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

Have never bought the GM stuff so don't know its
cost... Claim by those who bought is that it's way
cheaper...

My concern, having looked into and minimally
researched oils, is that our guys may "think" it's
the same GM stuff trans-appliable to our Ford
app, but they are only "assuming."
I don't want to assume, because, as Benny Hill
says: It makes an "ass" out of "u" and "me" !

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

since nye ships the stuff out from the same barrel, I'll use GM, while you can pay double at Ford

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

Yeah, buy gm, same stuff only cheaper

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

Until u can assure me, with no middle men opinion,
that the actual same stuff is in both, u buy the GM
while I'm sticking with Ford. No thanks to such
2nd hand hyped half truths!!!

When u have a half truth, u don't know which
half, u have....lol !!!

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

I've been using Redline transmission fluid for my SC and lovin every minute of it."To each his own."

Re: Don't give the devil a ride: He'll want to drive !

yeah, the supercharger must self destruct at the sight of GM fluid...wow, especially since they use the exact same internal parts:rolleyes: , the supercharger is not some magical device like some believe, it just runs on simple ball bearings, not some sort of aura that can be affected by the name on the bottle its fed from.
The purpose of this "special" fluid is so it doesnt varnish/sludge up the internals and cause damage over the "non-maintenance" life of the blower. Common sense needed to understand this point.

On a side note , Im putting on my wide paddle tires to go mud bogging since winter is over:D

re

I think he means a taste test raj, lets go and chug some SC fluid and see if it is the same.
