As the title states, I am curious what little tricks and goodies can be had for under $100 Can.? In other words, what have you discovered is the best way to spend 100 on your SC? (And don't say fuel  )

buy a 10% OD pulley for your blower about $110cdn. but beware you should upgrade to a more free flowing exhaust.

About the only affordable thing I would consider
is cosmetics that protect your paint around the
wheel well areas for when others open their car
doors:
Put the thin black plastic edging strip around them
plus along the complete hood edge by the
windshield wipers to act as a bug deflector,
wind deflector to stop the feathering that eats
the black colour off your wipers, and protects
that edge in winter whenever you use the
ice scraper....as is done on mine. Peace, virgil

Happy Easter to you!!!

My brother bought this book and Dyno test for aftermarket and perfomance parts. It list many of the aftermarket parts for the 5.0 block and shows you actual dyno results in what power is gained. It has a free power section. I should go through a few of them.

Stock belt VS Short belt
HP 203 HP 206
TQ 222 TQ 225

Ice the intake manifold
No Ice VS With ICE
HP 202 211
TQ 265 277

Oil
Regular VS Synthetic
HP 177 182
TQ 265 274

Removed Air Silencer
With VS Without
HP 167 170
TQ 250 255

Now all these are just at 1 RPM range and i picked the best one for each test. If you want any specific test i can scan that page in and post it. For those who are going to mission i recomend the ice one.
