Hey, heard the news from Steve, whom I met
first time at the Trev Deely demo ride today:
Sorry to hear the news!
(Are you able to share what happened???)

And before Easter...?!

You "will" rise again! Have faith...!!!

Faith may move mountains, BUT
it is hard work that creates tunnels...!(!)

(Descretely put, if need be, detected $5K offer
for Steve's could pass...!) Peace, virgil

PS: Anything I can do, holler!

Thanks for asking Virgil:
I'm just waiting to see what my adjusters are going to do. I got hit pretty hard last week by a guy talking on his cell phone. Its borderline as to repair or total it. We'll see next week.

I'd like to find a straight 35th body and transfer my drivetrain, interior, & suspension into it.

Hi Jerome:
Hey, man, thanks for sharing with our group...!
I didn't want to divulge what happened in case
u wanted to keep it discrete, hence tried to use
abstract lingo...

So, yeah, damn.... Must admit: I pray the same
doesn't happen to mine...lol! Ask Steve about
the displayed passion for mine! And I understand
yours, from both reading your many supportive
contributions both here and especially on the
American site, as well as, that my son, Darius,
met you about a couple of years back when you
were in some kind of restaurant or fast food outlet
here on the North Shore... And shared many
thoughts on the vehicle with him at length....

Anyway, Steve e-mailed me the pic: To me it
looks terminal because of going into the frame
plus roof as the pic infers.... To me, I would
do as you're infering: Get another. Because steel
is never the same unstretched, to use that
lingo...! AND because, as if Providentially, Steve
is willing to part with his!!! At least that's what
he inferred, said, and appears to be at decision
point wise!
We spent about 2-3 hours yakking: He wouldn't
leave me alone! I was going to go eat my 1st
meal of the day at about 2:30 when he cornered
me at Trev Deely's...!(!) He'd been hanging around
my car like a thief until I appeared (!) (Joking, OK?!)

Anyway, as far as your situation goes, the most I
could piece together from all that, was that he
appeared to be struggling with what price to put
on his were he to part with it to you.... To me
he appears uncertain, and I don't know the condish
of his, although he admits it doesn't even come
close to mine... So, subject to the history you
have with him, I would go low-ball given all the
past help (gratis! and now it's payback time!)
you've given him, etc. (And if he's reading this:
Hey, we're trying to help a good man in need
here, whereas Steve does not share our love
for this unique Bird, right?!) Peace, virgil

I didn't know that I met your son, small world isn't it? I'm just biding my time, waiting for the adjusters to get back to me before I make any decisions. But you're right, Steve is a very nice fellow and I have helped him with a couple of his cars. His is in the back of my mind and is a concideration. Thanks for the ideas.

Hi Jerome:
I missed seeing Steve's today by delaying in reading
my e-mail... but it doesn't matter... In conjuntion
with what he had shared and your own reflections,
I encourage the route of getting his, re-claiming
yours once settlement and process complete,
and raiding the best yours has left...since he too
intimated that possibility. Hope all goes well and
would be honoured to assist if at all possible...
Peace!

hey Jerome, I am sorry to see your car in such a state, I was in shock when Patricia and I had driven by the scene of the accident. I am glad to see you are ok after seeing the damage the car took.

if there is anything we can do for you, please just let us know, im sure the club will be more than willing to help.
