You put too much transmission (MERCON III) fluid in ? I blew the hose from the trans pump to the cooler (the little hose up by the raditor between the mettle lines) so all the fluid pumped out and car wouldn't move. So after fixing the hose I over filled the trans with fluid. When I checked the trans fluid level with the car brought up to temp in park and running it was way above the crosshatches on the dipstick. Thanks for the input......

As long as you don't take it on a cross county drive, just drain the excess out and you should be fine. Easiest way to do that is with a clear plastic hose as a siphon. You want plastic unless you enjoy the surprise of a mouthful of mercron. If you don't want to mess with that, you can pull a bit at a time out by pushing the hose down in and covering it with your thumb and then pulling it back out and drain into a bottle. Takes a while, but sure beats taking the pan off. :)
