Put a bone stock blower on the XR7 today. With only about 7-8psi of boost the car actually moves pretty darn good. I think it makes right around 300rwhp still. I still think that Steig heads are well worth the $$.

True Dave,

All the m90 porting in the world will not add up to a good cam and head combo

Was it a 94-95 blower?

What are you running for a cam in that David?

What are you running for a cam in that David? So mild it will make you sick. 210/220 dur and .513" lift with 1.8 rockers. Didn't like the AR blower very much. :( It's much happier now. ;)

"Did you say M-90"
Dave yes M-90 and a good set of heads do wonders.
Can you say 11.911et :) glad the combo is working good for you your AR setup is nice you where running. still got the thought in the back of my head what numbers mine would run with the AR setup?

What is the cost of your whole setup?
Your last low 12 second run was with the AR blower thats good numbers

I've taken the AR off to do some prototyping of new parts. The M90 feels real nice around town but it doesn't have the capability to run the big end. The AR is a monster. Everyone who heard it run was in shock. It's mean and loud.

Someone is going to run an AR on a good motor yet. I don't have the donor lined up, still looking for the right longblock to really make it happen. On a car like yours Jim, take whatever your torque peak is, add about 25-50 ftlbs to it and then extend the rpm band another 1500rpm or so. ;) Let me put it this way, with the super mild cam that I have in my wife's car, the AR put out more torque at at both 2500rpm AND 5500rpm than the S-model did at peak torque! :D

I'm not supposed to talk price on this forum and as well I have decided not to release official numbers until the shootout. I think people will be pleasantly surprised.

Looks like my cam is 215/224 @.520 /1.73's. How would this work out if I were to put an AR on it? :)

I really wish I had a better set of heads on it. And a MP front mount or better yet custom. I guess there is always next year (or winter)

With the new motor I built I should be making power up to 6500 with the 2.2 liter autorotor. I'm seriously dying to find out what numbers it will make. Imagine an SC motor making power up to 6500...Ohhhhh Yahhh its almost there!

If I had the money I would get one. I wuold love to see the look on some of this guys facesat the local track. I believe my motor would make an easy 360 hp. with the other stuff I have planed.
