My exhaust guy has agreed to build some custom exhaust systems for the national meet. His shop is just a few miles from the hotel, and he should be able to get your car in and out within just 2-3 hours. The basic setup would consist of:
2.5" duals welded to your existing cats
3" center section w/ 3" glasspack resonator
2.5" duals out back w/ Dynomax Super Turbos
That system will cost $300 installed. He can also do true duals, X-pipes and different sizes up to 3" The bends are not mandrel but they are very clean. He has built 3 systems on my car, one for Dan Cullen, one for Will Preisler, and one for Chris Ward. So ask any of these guys about the quality of his work. I would like to have at least a weeks notice so I can prepare him for the weekend. Email me at jmarsh@theshop.net if you are interested in having a system built.

Jason, you know i'm interested. whether or not my wife will be interested in letting me spend that much money for "more noise" (her words) is another story. :lol:

If I were to go into Mufflers 'R Us...how much would they charge for this modification?
I don't doubt the quality...just wonderin' if it's a good deal -Dave

Have to take your car to them and ask. I can say this guy does quality work because I've seen it in person and have taken lots of people back to him. You never know what you might get from "Mufflers -R- US

Jason,
I would LOVE to get this exhaust done on my car....however i'm dumping all my money into the tranny swap at the moment. Is this a special price for the meet, or is this his everday price?
If it's a special price, does anyone have $300 they can give me?! I would be ever appreciative.....and I would also do a lot of photoshop/webpage work for you!!!!

Hi TBK
Bill would probably make this price for the described system whenever you are up here. He's done several T-Birds for us, and his work is good, he's a pro. Mine cost only a little more, for hi-flow cats and Magnaflow res, same back half. Makes good power, and sounds SCweet.

Hey Jason I e-mailed you a while back jus wondering if you got it or not?
I have a 1990 Stock SC wanted an exhaust done
But.....
Wanted the Magnaflow resonator.....
And the HIGH FLOW CATS.....
Wanted to keep the stock mufflers (I think) Dont want it any if at all louder than stock)
and can anything be done for my exhaust manifold? the 90 degree bend?
Do i need to get this stuff ? and bring it with me?
~~~~~I know where to get the magnaflow and the high flow cats BUT NO CLUE AS TO A MANIFOLD~~~~~
THANKS (I know your purty damn busy )
Dont remember getting your email. You would need to bring the resonator and cats with you, he has the mufflers and other stuff there. He will not be able to do anything with the stock exhaust manifolds other than maybe some mild porting.
Jason,
I've think I've had enough of my true dual system (w/o cats and H-pipe in instead of resonator) after 2 years of busting out Bee's at 2,600-3,000 rpms. I will bring a Magnaflow dual in and single out. Just wondering if he can do the removal of my H-pipe and fit the resonator with a Y-pipe feeding into the dual S pipes that I have going around the stock gas tank. I imagine I will have to bring the cats too, if he's going to agree to touch it.
Yes Glenn hell take care of that for you, it will be a whole lot cheaper for just that small amount of work. I will talk to you Thursday night and get you directions to his shop, he opens at 8:00am Friday morning. Only a few miles from the hotel.
